For Retailers

Retailer Rules

Last updated: 11 September 2026. These rules apply to every Retailer account on CounterAd.com, alongside our Terms & Conditions.

1. Verification

Your Retailer profile, and every Store and Counter you list, must be verified by our team before it's visible to Brands. Keep your phone number verified and your business details accurate - unverifiable or misleading listings can be taken down.

2. Listing fee

The first 1000 Retailers to register can list Stores and Counters for free. Once that limit is reached, listing a new Store or Counter costs a one-time ₹99.00 fee. Registering an account itself is always free - the fee only applies when you go to publish a listing.

3. Running a live campaign

Once a Brand books your counter, you're expected to display their product for the full agreed duration. Each day, you must upload at least 2 timestamped display photos as proof - this is what releases that day's counter fee. A day without enough proof forfeits that day's payment back to the Brand automatically; it isn't retroactively payable later.

4. Getting paid

You're paid incrementally, not just at the end of a campaign - each verified day's counter fee (minus our 5.00% fee) lands in your wallet as soon as that day's proof is confirmed. You don't need to wait for the full campaign duration to see earnings.

5. Withdrawals

  • You need a verified bank account or UPI ID on file before you can request a withdrawal.
  • A minimum of ₹100.00 must always remain in your wallet - only the balance above that is withdrawable.
  • Withdrawals are paused entirely while you have any campaign still live at any of your counters. Earnings already credited for completed days stay safely in your wallet either way - you just can't cash out until every live campaign you're running finishes.

6. Consigned stock

If you're selling a Brand's consigned product through your own POS, the Brand's share of that sale is deducted from your wallet automatically at the time of sale (see your wallet's earnings ledger for the breakdown) - you keep your agreed margin.

7. Disputes

If a Brand disputes a campaign (e.g. over display proof), further daily settlement for that campaign pauses until our team reviews it. Keep your display photos honest and clearly timestamped - falsified proof is grounds for account suspension.

8. Account conduct

Don't misrepresent your counter's footfall, location, or condition. Don't attempt to route a Brand's booking outside the platform to avoid fees. Violations can result in listings being unpublished or the account being suspended.
