Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you register, we collect your business name, contact person, mobile number, email, city/address, and (for Retailers) payout bank/UPI details and a document proving that account. We also collect contact form enquiries, KYC and verification documents you upload, and product/counter photos including the daily display proof photos Retailers submit.

2. Payment data

Wallet top-ups are processed by Razorpay. We never receive or store your card number, UPI PIN, or net banking credentials — Razorpay handles that directly, and we only store the outcome (amount, order reference, status) needed to credit your wallet.

3. How we use your data

• To operate your account, bookings, wallet, and campaign records
• To verify Retailer and counter authenticity before listing
• To detect and prevent fraudulent display proof or payment activity
• To resolve disputes you or a counterparty raise
• To send you account, booking, and payment notifications

4. Who we share it with

We share payment information with Razorpay solely to process transactions. We do not sell your personal or business data. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the Platform against fraud or abuse.

5. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a CSRF-protection cookie required for secure form submissions. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

6. Data security

Verification documents and payout details are stored with restricted access. Wallet transactions and campaign records are logged for audit and dispute-resolution purposes.

7. Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate details, or request account deletion, subject to our obligation to retain financial and transaction records as required by law. Contact support@counterad.com for any of these requests.

8. Data retention

We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations.
